WhereArtI Quiz – 25th Jan 2021

Can you tell me where in Edinburgh I have sketched?

Through a tunnel of trees, the road then starts to climb.

Leave your answer in the comment box below.

Your comment will not show up until I reveal the answer. Closing time for entering is midnight tonight and I will pick a random winner from all correct entries by this time tomorrow.

This week’s prize is a screen printed tea towel featuring my illustration of the Victoria Street.

Keep an eye on my facebook and twitter feeds for clues if they are needed later today, and remember you can also see my weekly competition in the printed version of the Edinburgh Evening News each Monday.

Keep looking up and noticing the beauty in the everyday, you never know where I will be sketching next!

My Edinburgh sketched merchandise is available on my Etsy shop and although I am fully booked for Christmas commissions there are plenty of Edinburgh prints available.

  1. #WhereArtI Answer – Monday 25th January
This week’s answer is Old Church Lane, just by Duddingston Loch. Well done M Smith who wins this week’s prize of an Edinburgh tea towel. More next week and thanks for playing along 🙂

  2. This is Duddingston Village at the entrance to Holyrood Park (the “low road” entrance).

  3. This is the entrance to the park at the Duddingston End. The Sheep Heid is just through the gate on the right and the church on the left in Old Church Lane.

  4. The road leading into Holyrood Park from Duddingston village. Duddingston Loch will appear on the left.

I LOVE these quizzes! This is the first one I’ve actually entered 😆

  5. Duddingston, I think, the view from outside the Kirk looking down to the entrance to the loch.
