Storm damage

Storm Eowyn hit Edinburgh at the weekend and left its mark in Inverleith Park.

Sad to see the damage Storm Eowyn caused at the weekend but thankful there was only one down here in Inverleith Park. I hear the Botanics which is just to the left of here lost a lot of trees on Friday which is such a shame.

This was meant to be a quick sketch but ended up taking my morning but I enjoyed the process, I used a thick pen for the foreground felled tree and then a finer nib for the Edinburgh skyline in the distance.

Plus I wanted to take my time and get all the trees still standing in the background.
