Sketching between the showers at Lauriston Castle
This week I ran my final Sketching at Lauriston Castle workshops for this year. We ran four dates in total this year and saw the blossom in the spring and now the full bloom of the rose garden in the summer months.
We ended on a high too after selling out the morning session I added an afternoon one which was great fun and from next year I will be selling a morning and afternoon session on each date. I would rather spread the numbers out and keep each one to a maximum of 10 so I can get round everyone and each person gets a little one to one advice.
The rain did fall on Sunday but thankfully it was before the first workshop and then later on while we were indoors finishing off out watercolour drawings.
It was great fun meeting everyone so thankyou if you came along, I always feel reenergised and creative after a day sketching with people so I am hoping that rubbed off on those who came along too.
