Today we found out that Richard Briers had died aged 79, and this is today’s sketch in his memory. Most well known to me for his role as Tom in the Good Life and also as the voice of Rhubarb and Custard Richard had a distinctive friendly voice, one I grew up with and which made me laugh many times. He’ll be sadly missed but his programs will live on for ever.
