Monday 6th April
Can you tell me where I have sketched?
Do you recognise this famous clock?
Leave your answer in the comment box below. Your comment will not show up until I reveal the answer, which I will do before the end of the day.
I will pick a random winner from all correct entries and they will go on to the ‘Winners wall’ for the month. At the end of the month one of those will be picked to receive a prize.
The prize for April is a screen printed tote bag featuring my sketch of Edinburgh Castle.
Keep an eye on my facebook and twitter feeds for clues if they are needed later today, and I will pick a winner for the Winners Wall before the end of the day.
Keep looking up and noticing the beauty in the everyday, you never know where I will be sketching next!
If you would like to buy an Edinburgh Sketcher tote you can find them in my Etsy shop.
#WhereArtI Answer – Monday 6th April: This is the Morningside clock, not the very similar Toll Cross one. I hope you are all well and staying creative 😉 June Farwell goes into the March prize draw. Another mystery location next Monday.

Thanks John. They may be delaying the order they run them so they can get ahead, but I will check. At least now you will know next weeks one!

Hi June,
Congratulations, you have won this week’s WhereArtI quiz with your correct answer of Morningside Station. I hope you are staying safe and as usual you will go into the monthly draw for a prize and I will be in touch if you have won.
All the best, and thanks for playing WhereArtI

Morningside clock!
Hi that’s the clock at Morningside Station.
The sketch in today’s news is a repeat of last weeks. Which I think was looking at The Balmoral hotel from Waverley Station. A duplication at the printers ?

Its the clock at Morningside station with the Hermitage bar behind !
That’s the Morningside Clock
Morningside! 😁🤞🏻
That would be the Morningside clock not the one at Tollcross which it resembles. At least her you can sit down for a rest before climbing the hill beyond.
Clock at bottom of Morningside Road between Cluny Avenue and Cluny Gardens. Like the time lapse.
Is that the Morningside Clock outside the Hermitage Bar?
It’s Morningside Clock. (Basically identical to the one at Tollcross, but with a few more frills and seats.)
At the bottom of Morningside Road at the clock before it becomes Comiston Road?
Good Morning 🙂
Where Art I: Morningside Clock, with the old RBS in the background.
Kind regards,
