  1. I think this is the Albert Sundial on The Meadows. I remember it well from my student days. Miss Edinburgh very much. Especially The Meadows, my dream homeplace.

  2. That is the Prince Albert sundial on the Meadows.

  3. There are so many pillars of some sort around the Meadows! This one is the Prince Albert victor sundial.

  4. You were in the west Meadows and sketched the sundial which is almost the last relic of the 1886 International Exhibition. As it says, ‘Time is the chrysalis of eternity’; ‘Well arranged time is the surest sign of a well arranged mind.’
