WhereArtI Quiz – 9th October

Where have I sketched this week?

City curves but where do they lie?

Leave your answer as a comment below, your entry will not show up until I reveal the answer in 24 hours. I will pick a random winner from all correct entries to win a prize.

This week’s prize is a cotton tote bag featuring one of my sketches.

Keep an eye on my facebook and twitter feeds for clues if they are needed, and remember you can also see my weekly competition in the printed version of the Edinburgh Evening News each Monday.

Keep looking up and noticing the beauty in the everyday, you never know where I will be sketching next!

My Edinburgh sketched merchandise and high quality prints are available on my Etsy shop and I am available for commissions too.

Keep up to date with my sketches as I share a more personal look at what I get up to and what I have planned, with competitions, offers and news about upcoming live events and workshops.

  1. WhereArtI answer for 9th Octobre: Leith Theatre and the road that runs around the back. Thanks for all those who had a guess, Torya Hughes wins the prize this week and there will be another chance to win on Monday morning.

  2. Leith Theatre🎭 at Thomas Morton Hall (Ferry Road). The sketcher must have been there for Doors Open Day in Sept I guess.

  3. Leith Theatre, Ferry Road (not to be confused with, but has been, the amateur drama club Leitheatre)

  4. Thomas Morton Hall behind Leith Library. It’s where hubby and I had our wedding reception 40 years ago 😍

  5. Thomas Morton Hall behind Leith Library. It’s where my husband and I had our wedding reception 40 years ago.😍

  6. Leith Theatre/Thomas Morton Halls.

My sister had her wedding reception there 40th ago !

  7. Leith theatre behind Leith Library at the junction of Ferry Road and Great Junction Street near George Anderson’s butcher shop and Melrose’s Tea Merchants head office, both the latter now long gone elsewhere.
