  1. WhereArtI answer for 11th November: This is the National Museum on Chambers Street as seen from George IV Bridge. Lots of correct answers this week but Iris was picked to win the Christmas cards. Another chance to play every Monday at edinburghsketcher.com.

  2. The New National Museum of Scotland. At the end of this month it will be 25 years ago that the Queen opened this new part of the museum. I remember going up to Chambers Street in my lunch break and getting there just in time for her arrival.👸🏻

  3. That is the amazing National Museum of Scotland. I love the architecture of that modern wing. It’s almost cathedral like inside.

  4. It is the extension to the National Museum on Chambers St that also houses The Tower restaurant

  5. Chambers Street Museum on the site of Brown Square House (once the Heriot-Watt University Students Union)

  6. Its the National Museum of Scotland.
Fun fact my aunty Doris ran a Chinese restaurant there and it might have been one of the first Chinese restaurants in Edinburgh. The police station was just down the street and bobbies on the beat would sometimes get complementary food until a police inspector put an end to that. Sadly after they demolished that corner it was left empty for some time

  7. This gorgeous sketch is the Museum of Scotland on Chamber Street, viewed from George IV Bridge looking south.
