WhereArtI?#011

Okay Edinburgh fans, you know the rules by now – Have a look at the sketch above and tell me where I sat to sketch it.

A tough one I think you’ll find, so be sure to check in at the ES facebook page for clues. I have a feeling you’ll need them this time!

Include hashtag #wherearti with your answers either below, on facebook or twitter.

Answers to come by the end of the day, and although for now the quiz is just for fun, the first three correct answers will get a mention plus a link from my site if you make it onto the wherearti? leaderboard. Remember to forward this on, the more who play the better. Good luck :)

Big brother is watching you! This CCTV camera has a great view, but from where?

Slightly different this week in that I am not looking for what the sketch is, but where it was sketched from. Have a look at the sketch above and tell me where I drew it from.

As usual, remember to check in at the ES facebook page for clues though out the day.

Include hashtag #wherearti with your answers either below, on facebook or twitter.

Answers to come by the end of the day, plus mentions to the first three correct answers. Remember to forward this on, the more who play the better. Good luck :)

Morning moon

It was still darkish, or just getting light 😉 when I left the house to catch the bus into town this morning.

As I reached the stop I noticed the moon, just a slither of a crescent shining through the trees in front of the houses opposite. So out came the pen and paper. The sketch to the left is my second attempt, which I drew from memory on the bus. The first is below, I decided to start again as the moon was getting a little lost.

I thought it would be interesting to see my roughs though too!

Watching a boiling kettle?

I’m waiting for a bus, or I was when I started this wee sketch of the display screen at the bus stop on the North Bridge.

9 minutes to go until the next number 8 it reads, and even though I continued to stare at the screen, unlike the proverbial kettle that never boils,  the bus did arrive 9 minutes later.

A great piece of technology being able to track @on_lothianbuses this way, and online too – it’s a great time saver. See here for more a link to their website.
