Two trips to the East Neuk this weekend for wonderful weddings

Time is a blur just now as I near the clocking off hour for my break away in the highlands so of course I am cramming in as much work as possible so I have money to come back to!

This weekend I had two weddings sketcher bookings near St Andrews. A stunning part of the country and a lovely drive in the sunshine, even though I did do it four times in three days :)

Congratulations Jemima & John and Emily and Daniel, and all those who tied the knot recently, I wish you all the very best. I love such happy occasions and seeing people so happy and enjoying a wonderful celebration fills my heart with joy.

So nice then that I can capture a little of that memorable day for them to keep forever as a watercolour painting.

This image shows my ink drawing and then subsequent coloured painting of the bouquet, always a favourite of mine as while the family are having their wedding breakfast meal I take a well earned seat and get lost in the wonder of nature.
