With the Coronovirus outbreak beginning to take effect on daily life here in Edinburgh the council has taken the decision to close schools.
Today is Friday and our two are enjoying their final morning at school and wishing all their friends well as they will not see them for some time.
From next week the kids will be home and my wife Joanne and I will be helping them through their school work from home. It will be an interesting and busy time at home, and I may regret spending my final morning alone sketching my coffee!
Amazing machines when they work, not so when they don’t.
Tonight I’ve been trying to speed up Mrs Sketchers laptop, which is days old and struggling to startup. Fingers crossed it’s running okay now but when the computer says ‘no’ you realise how much we now depend on them.

The weather outside is decidedly frightful so this afternoon I have been keeping warm and cosy at my desk. I am surrounded with various tools of the trade to gt me working, and the motorbikes in my head are telling me a hundred and one fab ideas to get started on, but which one do I do first?!
