Of course the rain is lashing down on another Bank Holiday Monday as I sketched Victoria Street this morning.

I admit I sketched this one from a cafe after passing the tourists walking up and down Victoria Street in the rain this morning. I did feel a little sympathy with them all posing for photos and selfies with the brollies up and the rain dripping down their faces, but they were all smiling. Edinburgh is beautiful whatever the weather. 

I am glad my family got away for 24 hours in Fife on Saturday and enjoyed some almost sunny weather around Dunfermline. This afternoon is a time for tidying and then playing some games together indoors. Now should it be Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit as the rain hits the window panes?
