Congestion
Another sketch from my head, from my time in the Western hospital last week. This one to illustrate congestion on the roads.
Funnily enough it is congestion of another kind that is affecting me today, with my immune system currently down while I am on steroids and medication I seem to have picked up a cold and my head feels like its gone ten rounds with Tyson.
Peter & Paula find love
Another instalment of Peter & Paula from my time sketching at the Western hospital. I like these characters and hope to continue their little adventures, I think they would look great in a weekly magazine or paper. Get in touch if you have such a space needing filled.
My wife did suggest I should name one Pauly (poorly) as I was ill when I first drew them!
Happy belly monsters
My belly monsters are today happy and relaxed, no biting or scratching. Just snoozing and smiling.
It must be something to do with the magic pills falling from the sky.

I am no longer #stuckinWestern hospital as I have been let out for the weekend, back on Monday to check all is going okay. Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes, they are obviously working. 🙂
The morning
The morning in the Western General Hospital is stretching out in front of me. As I gaze out at the heavy rain outside the window, I wonder what tests and checks I have in store today.
Mainly bloody ones it turns out, umpteen tubes filed via various puncture wounds.
And then good news, levels are good and new medication is started. And after a little blood given back I may get home for the weekend.
